An English teacher at North Marion High School in Farmington, WV, I am learning the game design program Globaloria. I believe this program will enhance my students' critical thinking skills, hone their technology skills, and get them excited about learning. I will use this blog to document and reflect on my experience with implementing Globaloria into my classroom.

Mini Game
Making the mini game was actually fun after I got the hang of the code "speak." Once I understood what we had to do and what we were trying to communicate through code, the whole process became more clear to me. That was the best part of doing this assignment---having that lightbulb moment. I'm also a puzzle person, so I enjoyed looking through code to figure out what was wrong and what I needed to change so that the computer would listen to me. Of course, that can become frustrating, making it the worst part of the assignment as well.

I like puzzles too and I thought it was neat to actually put in the codes and commands and see the functions happen.
